i Fratelli Pizza, a 30-year-old franchise that appeared in the suburbs of Dallas-Fort Worth, will arrive in Houston.
According to a recent update on the chain’s Facebook page, the pizzeria is planning an expansion to 11300 Katy Freeway with franchisees Bruce and Callie Redden. Callie comes all the way from Coppell, a suburb just on the edge of the DFW area that was home to one of the chain’s first locations after expanding from its original home in Irving back in 1987.
i Fratelli (“the brothers” in Italian) was created by four Cole brothers – Darrell, David, George, and Mike. They keep it simple with six signature pizzas or build-your-own options with the ability to change gluten-free crust for regular dough and red sauce for white. The menu offers different varieties including a meat lovers, vegetarian, and margherita which have all been baked in stone deck ovens and served up in the pizzeria’s signature rectangle shape. Breadsticks, salads with house-made dressing, and desserts like brownies and cheesecake are also on the list.
